300,000 tons of photovoltaic quartz sand production line in the desert

Recently, the Ganqika sand mine’s annual production of 300,000 tons of photovoltaic sand and 200,000 tons of low-iron feldspar production line project started full-line trial production. At present, all production processes are stable and orderly and operating normally.
In the production workshop of the project, after the raw ore is fed, the sand material passes through the “physical section”, “flotation section” and “purification section” in turn under the efficient operation and transportation of the whole line equipment. The equipment in each section is in good operating condition, showing strong production capacity and advanced technical level.
The total investment of the project is 200 million yuan. Based on the flotation high-silica sand product, Tongliao Silica Sand and the National Key Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences conducted deep purification and made major breakthroughs, purifying the product indicators to SiO2 greater than 99.5% and Fe2O3 less than 0.01% (100ppm), meeting the “photovoltaic sand” indicator requirements, successfully breaking through the technical bottleneck of “desert sand” purifying “photovoltaic sand”, realizing the high-end silica sand products, greatly improving the added value of products, and effectively extending the silica sand industry chain.
