Salt washing, also known as “water washing”, is a lake salt production process. Use crystal brine to rinse the salt particles to remove dihydrate calcium sulfate (gypsum), silt and grass attached to the surface of the salt particles.
Efficient removal of impurities: The water-washed salt equipment can efficiently remove impurities in the salt, such as silt, stones, organic matter and soluble impurities, through processes such as water washing and centrifugation, so that the final output of salt has higher precision.
Flexible adaptation to different salt sources: The water-washed salt equipment can adapt to salt from different sources, including sea salt, rock salt, lake salt, etc. It has adjustable operating parameters and can be optimized and adjusted according to different salt sources.
There are two methods for washing and dehydrating lake salt: primary salt washing and dehydration and regenerated salt washing and dehydration. Primary salt generally adopts hydraulic pipeline transportation-hydraulic cyclone-vibrating screen-cast stone tank scraper-vibrating centrifugal dehydration process; regenerated salt generally adopts spiral salt washing machine-scraper classifier-piston centrifuge washing water process.
